Shorter term tenancy

Would an earlier tenancy completion date be possible?

Answer

We offer shorter tenancies from March 15^th, provided we still have available rooms. Our rooms get taken up quickly through February. Experience (of more than a decade) suggests that all of the rooms will all be taken by early March. If you wish to try your luck, we can offer you a weekly contract in whatever room is available now until March 15^th. As you can expect, we would preferentially offer rooms to tenants taking longer contracts.

Couples

Question

What is your policy on couples?

Answer

We allow couples to stay in the flat, with the proviso that each tenant must have a contract for one room. In practise, for couples, this means that a couple must rent two rooms in the flat. How the rooms are used is completely up to the couple (bedroom / study, two bedrooms etc). More information is here.

Sharing a room

What is your policy on two tenants sharing a room?

Answer

Each tenant must have a contract for one room. How the rooms are used is completely up to the tenants.

Pets

Question

Can I have a pet?

Answer

We would consider allowing you to have pets so long as the pet was unlikely to be an issue for the other tenants and you took one of the rooms with an external door. We have several rooms meeting this requirement:

• Percy Dyett: Room 5 & 7
• Verviers Street: Room 4, 5 & 6
• Oban Street: Room 5 & 6
